Singing from the Sacred Harp, 1991 Denson (SH) and 2012 Cooper (CB) editions, and from the Shenandoah Harmony (ShH). Thanks to the group for coping with the new rule that we couldn’t move the GIANT TABLE that is in the MIDDLE OF THE ROOM as well as with the old problem of bad lighting. We still love the Library, though. And of course it was a delight to have such a great crew back to my apartment for Fasolatke 2023! Thanks for your company and all the delicious things to eat and drink alongside the latkes. I am pretty sure the secret to the vegan potato-corn latkes you all liked so much was that I boiled and mashed one potato to serve as a matrix to keep the shredded potatoes and corn together, giving it that thicker, chewier texture.
